
EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
The Executive Committee provides programmatic advice and fiscal oversight to the UCLA Lewis Center. The committee is responsible for budget review and approval and guidance in the development of programs and initiatives.
Executive Committee members include the chairs of the three departments that form the UCLA School of Public Affairs – the Departments of Urban Planning, Policy Studies, and Social Welfare, and the directors of research centers at UCLA involved in areas related to the Lewis Center mission. The committee meets at least once a year.

ADVISORY BOARD
The Lewis Center depends on the involvement of leaders and experts to advance research and public education and to solve California’s complex challenges. Advisory Board members actively participate in the ongoing development and promotion of the Lewis Center, ensuring that our research is timely and relevant to the policymaking, rulemaking, and practitioner communities. Some specific examples include providing guidance on program activities and research, particularly in identifying programmatic needs and useful research materials/products; participation and co-sponsorship of conferences, research, and other activities congruent with their organization’s mission and goals; assistance with distribution of research findings to relevant audiences, including agency staff or other constituencies. The Lewis Center Advisory Board meets at a minimum of once each year. Membership is a three-year appointment.
